Who are we?

We’re working to build The Intelligent Utility and we have clear objectives and strategies to support us on this journey. A key part of us being able to deliver these objectives and strategies is for us to attract, develop and retain the right people – the best in the energy sector.

We are building a new culture, underpinned by values which include safety, respect, collaboration, accountability, empowerment and communication. This is an exciting time for our business and we are looking for people who are ready to make a difference.

Instead of speaking on behalf of our people, we sat down with a few members of the team to gain their view on what they like most about working at UE. This is what they said:

“I really enjoy the variety of work. My role moves away from the technical engineering side of things and focuses more on the management of our contractors to achieve short and long term results across our network.”

Chris Koulouris

Works Program and Reporting Manager

“In my particular role, I have a unique opportunity to work on the full end-to-end scale of an IT life-cycle, from visualisation of the strategy and architecture, to the delivery of key projects. There is no lack of interesting and challenging work at all levels. This place never stops which can be both challenging and truly exciting!”

Anna Manojlovic

IT Strategy and Architecture Manager

“The UE Graduate Program was a great experience.  I spent time with both technical and non-technical areas to build my understanding of the business, and this helped me find my area of interest so I know where I want to develop.

UE also provided training opportunities to help me obtain the skills and experience to be an engineer who can handle real world tasks and challenges.”

Johnny Shan
