Through our partnerships with United Energy Around the Bay and the Portsea Surf Life Saving Club, we create access to opportunities that encourage active lifestyles, community participation, and safer places for people to enjoy across our network – on the road, on the beach and beyond.
United Energy Around the Bay
United Energy Around the Bay is one of Victoria’s most iconic cycling events, bringing together thousands of riders each year to take on routes ranging from short family rides to endurance challenges around the edge of Port Phillip Bay, finishing at Albert Park – while raising funds for a selection of great causes along the way.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday 18 October 2026. Registrations are now open.
Portsea Surf Life Saving Club
United Energy’s partnership with Victoria’s largest surf lifesaving club supports the delivery of the Centre of Excellence education program which delivers surf and water safety education to schools and community groups across our network. It creates opportunities for students and customers across our United Energy network to learn vital swimming and water safety skills regardless of location, physical capability, cultural background or social economic circumstances.
