Model Standing Offer
The Model Standing Offer (MSO) is a contract between us and a customer approving the installation of their solar PV system.
Solar installers are responsible for submitting this documentation to us on their client’s behalf. For us, the most critical information in this document is the accuracy of advice regarding the smart inverter settings on the installed solar PV system.
If the right inverter settings are not used, then meter reconfigurations and customer feed-in tariff outcomes can be affected. It will also affect other potential customers on the same network feeder line by limiting future exports.
The Model Standing Offer is a contract with us submitted by your installer on your behalf, letting us know that your system has been installed and has the right smart inverter settings working.
