If you would like us to disconnect, remove, modify or provide new street lighting for your project, contact the local council or VicRoads in the first instance.

Street lighting maintenance and running costs are funded by councils or VicRoads, depending on which body is responsible for the street they are on. We carry out operational, maintenance, installation, and replacement activities. Find out who is responsible for each Victorian road via this website.

Once we have written approval from the relevant authority, we can plan to deliver the requested activities.

If you're working on behalf of a road authority and would like us to disconnect, remove, modify or provide new street lighting then please contact us as per below:

  • To request United Energy undertake the design and construction for the project please email your request to: customer.projects@zinfra.com.au
  • To undertake the works yourself as contestable services please email your request to contestable@ue.com.au. UE accredited service providers must be engaged to deliver the contestable works.
