Heatherton Zone Substation Upgrades
We're upgrading the Heatherton Zone Substation at 408 Warrigal Road, Heatherton.
What's happening
We will be replacing the existing control building and relays. These new assets will allow us to monitor our network and maintain power reliability.
The building replacement will take place over two days in April 2025:
- On Tuesday 1 April, our crew will be on site for preparatory works
- On Wednesday 2 April, the new building will be delivered to site
We’ll access the site via the driveway on Warrigal Road.
What to expect
- The building will be delivered on site from 4am on Wednesday, 2 April 2025.
- There will be some power outages associated with this project. We’ll directly notify impacted customers.
- There will be speed reductions and traffic controllers on Warrigal Road to allow safe movements while crews are entering and exiting the site.
