Caulfield Zone Substation Temporary Transformer
We installed a temporary transformer at our substation at 50 Neerim Road, Caulfield, to support the growing population and maintain a safe and reliable power supply to the area.
As part of our routine summer preparations, we identified the need for additional electricity supply in this area to ensure reliable power throughout the warmer months.
Following the successful restoration of the Caulfield Zone Substation, the final piece of the puzzle was completed in early January 2026 with the long-awaited removal of the 60-tonne transformer.
Completion of this work is essential to ensuring the substation can continue to efficiently service the area’s growing demand for energy, particularly during the warmer months.
