Electricity Distribution Price Review 2011

Under the terms of United Energy Distribution's (United Energy's) Licence, United Energy charges network tariffs to all customers in its distribution region. Government regulations state that the price path for distribution tariffs is set every five years. The original price path was put in place by the Victorian Government in 1995 as part of the privatisation process - this is the third review of United Energy's prices.

United Energy submitted its offering of pricing and services on 30 November 2009 in accordance with the timelines outlined by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER). This submission provided details of United Energy's price and service package for the regulatory period 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2015, including detailed information on future service level benchmarks and proposed changes in distribution charges. On 4 June 2010, the AER released its draft distribution determination for Victoria for the period 2011 to 2015. Please click on this link to view the draft determination (appendicies, executive summary). (note: the word appendices is spelt incorrectly in this link – can that be fixed please?)

On 20 July 2010 United Energy provided its response to the AER's draft distribution determination for Victoria for the period 2011 to 2015. Please click here to view this response (insert link).
