Electrical safety program - fallen power lines can kill
United Energy Distribution has launched an electrical safety program, in conjunction with the State's electrical safety watchdog, the Office of the Chief Electrical Inspector.
The message is simple - assume all fallen power lines are live. And live power lines can kill. Don't touch fallen power lines under any circumstances, and report them to United Energy Distribution on 132 099.
